The Output You Need
AST has many standard output formats are available, including .SCC, .STL, and/or .TXT result files which can used in DVD authoring packages like Apple's DVD Studio Pro, Sonic's DVDit Pro, Adobe's Encore, or MediaChance's DVD Lab Pro. We also deliver .CAP, .XMS, and/or .ASC formats to be directly imported into into CPC CaptionMaker or MacCaption, Cheetah, or RapidText (and others) for line-21 encoding.
Encoding traditional tapestock such as Beta SP, digi-Beta, or mini-DV, used to be a process that required expensive hardware or software -- until now. AST's Digital NLE Captions now allows you submit your media electronically and get back a black MOV caption file which you pull back into your NLE such as Avid, Final Cut Pro, or Premiere, and then print-to-tape. The Quick Turnaround You Need
CaptionSync can generate video caption files much more quickly than is possible with traditional manual captioning techniques.
