>> For this tutorial, we want to demonstrate the integration between ReelSurfer and CaptionSync provided by our transcription partner, Automatic Sync Technologies. Now, from the ReelSurfer platform, with the click of a single button, you can automatically submit media to be captioned and made completely searchable. To demonstrate, after uploading your media content, you can login to your ReelSurfer administrator account.

After clicking on Admin Tasks, you will see a list of all videos you've uploaded to the system. At this point, you will need an Automatic Sync account; and that information will be entered once upon your first login and then saved on your ReelSurfer profile for further use. From here, you can select files to be transcribed by simply clicking on the Transcribe button next to each file. During the process, the text will change from "Transcribe" to "In Progress" and finally, into "Complete" once the transcript has returned. The turnaround time depends on the priority level you set on your AST account. And that's it. The file will be sent to AST then returned with the proper transcript already integrated to the ReelSurfer system. Once complete, let us show you how you can really unleash the power of your transcript and video. Now your users can search through long videos for the segments they're really looking for. For example, here the transcription process has been run on a computer science lecture. We can search for every moment when the professor says the name of the computer programming language Python. After pressing Search, all the results across the entire video library are sorted and displayed based on relevance. Then, after clicking on a thumbnail, the user is taken to the right part from the right video.

After watching, users are able to create clips; download to a computer; embed in third-party Web sites or learning management systems; or share with friends.
