>> This is a short demo of Automatic Sync Technologies video search implementations, and a brief touch on video navigation as well. So we're here at Apple Learning Interchange and we've got a Destination Tomorrow program, which talks about, amongst other things, aircraft wing flutter. So, for example, this is meta data type information and maybe that got us to the right Destination Tomorrow here, but that doesn't get you to the right part in the video. So let's jump to a video search implementation so we can search on such things as flutter, or I don't know, but we can also search on aircraft manufacturers. So, let's look for Lockheed for example. And it talks about the Lockheed Electra, fatal crashes due to wing flutter and a trivia fact. So, we might want to jump to this trivia fact. Goes out, launches QuickTime to that point of interest. >> Did you know the Lockheed Electra was first made famous by pilot Amelia Earhart? In 1937... >> So you get the idea. And we can also view this in a couple more... or enhancements that you can make to that video search. So for example, at the Center for Probing the Nanoscale, we've got presentations we can filter upon as well as we can also filter on dates and times. So we might say we want them after March 1st or something along that line. So, for example, let's search for scale. Also, in this case, it launches the presentation to defined number of seconds before the point of interest, so that's configurable. You can change that. And as well, you can jump to the beginning of the presentation instead of, if you've determined, that ah, it's in the, this particular presentation, I'm interested in the whole thing, let's jump to the beginning, and start there. So we can do that as well. Let's also quickly jump to ResearchChannel, at the University of Washington. I just want to show a couple pertinent features here. Different media players, so we can use Windows Media or QuickTime and different connection speeds so let's say I'm on cable and QuickTime and we want to search for, well, let's see... So there we go. So we found a couple of incidences, again in this particular implementation, we launch ten seconds before that point and as well, provide a link to launch earlier. So now, let's jump to video navigation. So we have a Supreme Court transcript here and many people browse this sort of thing by looking at the text and reading that and you can use the built in search and replace features of Firefox. So for example, you might search for a "specific" and ah, it's found an instance of "specific case", "specifically", and we're looking for a "specific example". So, this particular link here would then launch the audio associated with that, and video if there was video available for it. >> And to take, to give you one very specific example, the case that Fifth Circuit heard in the Fox case... >> There you go, now you get the idea... >> Which is one of the cases where the lower courts upheld...
