>> Hello, this is a short movie which shows you how to make a self-contained MOV with a caption sprite to turn the captions on or off. So first let's open our video asset. And then we'll open our caption results we received back from Automatic Sync Technologies. Select all the captions -- that's Command-A. Copy them into the clipboard -- that's Command-C. Now we can close this. Now we'll add them to our movie. So Edit. Add To Movie. Now before we do this make sure that your play head is at the beginning of the movie. Now when we've done that we need to make sure that they're positioned below the video instead of right on top of it. So Command-J brings up the Properties pane. We can determine from the Properties pane that our video is 642 by 485. So copy that. And our text track needs to, of course, start below this, at 485. So plunk it down there. And I guess the other thing we can do at this point in time is rename our text track to be caption so that it works well with the sprite. So we can close this window now. Move to the beginning of our pane, and give it a quick little test. [ Movie Plays ] >> Okay. Looks good. Move our play head back to the beginning. Now we will open our sprite. Again, Command-A and Command-C, go to the clipboard. Close that. And our play head at the beginning. Add To Selection and Scale. And now what we have to -- deal with is move our caption play head back to the beginning -- is make sure that our little sprite appears, probably, in the lower right-hand corner. So again, Command-J brings up the Properties pane. And now we'll see the toggle_captions. And we can position this here. If you remember, we were at 485. Less 16 would be about 469, which would get us in the right area. And we were at 642 minus 30 which would give us 610. And that should plunk us right in the lower right-hand corner. We'll double-check our caption, our video track is below -- rather we check the name of our captions is called caption. That's important for the sprite. We can close this. Move our play head to the beginning. And give it a quick test. [ Movie Plays ] >> Make sure they disappear and reappear -- let's drag it along to the further points. The captions are keeping track. Disappear. All right. Looks good. So let's move the play head back to the beginning and have the captions on at the beginning. And now do a File Save As, and Save As Self-Contained Movie. Let's call this AllIn for example. Save. Now we can quit out of QuickTime Player. And let's launch this from the desktop to make sure it works. There's our captions. Let's play it. [ Movie Plays ] >> And make the captions disappear. Let's drag it half way through. Make the captions reappear. Looks good.
