Did you know that you have the ability to add features to your CaptionSync account by using the Account Features page under the Settings tab? You can request many different account features such as batch uploading capability, partner integrations, Production Transcripts and transcription-only services. In an effort to simplify and not confuse new users, we do not set up accounts initially with all available features but give you the ability to add them at any time.

Here at Automatic Sync, we strive to provide you with all of the tools you need for efficient and fast closed captioning. We are always looking for ways to disseminate information and streamline processes for our customers. If you have any suggestions on how we can better do this, please contact us!

To use the service, log in to your CaptionSync account and click on the Settings tab. You will see an option to click on “Account Features” on the left-hand navigation bar. From the drop-down box you will see a list of features you can enable. You will be automatically enabled for the feature you select and receive an email confirmation that the feature has been added and you are ready to go. Sometimes those emails are caught in spam folders, so if you don’t receive the email quickly, check there.

AST is always adding new partner integrations to provide a seamless captioning workflow to our customers who use lecture capture and online video platform providers.  Check our partner page for a complete list of platforms that we integrate with.

We also have documentation on the setup of these integrations and how to use them in our extensive Knowledge Base. When you decide to set up the integration with any of our lecture capture or online video partners, the first step is to enable your CaptionSync account for the integration. Next, you can obtain documentation on the set up and use of the integration from AST via our website or by contacting us directly.

If you have a large number of files to submit to us, we offer many options for you so that you do not need to upload files to your account one-by-one. We offer a URL list submission, so you can paste in URL’s to your online videos and we will grab your content there. We also offer AST-link for both PC and Mac, which is our batch upload tool. Both of these options will need to be enabled on your account. Lastly, we offer a direct integration option and you can request more information on this by contacting us directly. We are always willing to discuss these options with you and offer suggestions on the easiest ways for you to submit content.
