This video demonstrates how Automatic Sync’s audio description service works with the CaptionSync Smart Player.

The example above demonstrates how the CaptionSync Smart Player can be used to deliver extended audio description, which meets WCAG 2.0 Level AAA standards and provides a more detailed level of description than is typically available through standard audio description. Extended audio description provides blind and visually impaired people with access to visually complex media even when there is a large amount of dialog with very few gaps, because the player pauses the video and audio track during the descriptions. Standard audio description often falls short when the content is complex or there are very few gaps in the dialog.
Another option is to provide a full-text alternative to the synchronized media. This option can be used to meet WCAG 2.0 Success Criterion 1.2.3 (Level A) or SC 1.2.8 (Level AAA). Here is an example of a full-text media alternative for the ESA/Hubble video above.
